The r-pod logo has been changed to reflect Forest River’s green movement.
Apparently they are eco-constructed now, whatever that means…

I have an RP-172 and would definitely like it if the upcoming models included a solar panel, and/or a 12V Cig Lighter inside the camper for reverse trickle charging of the battery with a solar panel mounted to a window.
ReplyDeleteAlso, for energy efficiency and longevity, I suggest an ABS bottle cover (similar to a trailer toolbox) mounted on the front to cover the propane tank all the way back to the battery, with a lock. So, something with a lid and box structure to cover both sources of energy, and keep out the rain, snow, dirt, wind, etc.
It seems that another eco-friendly camper will be available in 2010 - the Heartland MPG. This r-pod like camper is available over at http://www.wholesalervclub.com for under $13,000...
